Since this posting I received a phone call from Mr. Michael Webb manager with Carolina Ford in Honea Path. He was very respectful of my concerns and feelings of what took place at this dealership. He apologized for the former staff's actions and asked me to stop by and meet the new staff. I did...They also were very concerned about the way I was treated and also offered apologies for the results of my former visit. They seemed to be sincere and asked me to come back and give them another chance to prove their service is better than I experienced. I am willing to do so...I believe it is always the right thing to do...give someone a second chance!! Looking forward to working with them again!!

We moved to Honea Path in 2011 and wanted to find a place where we could take our vehicle and trust the dealer with the service that needed to be done. Carolina did great until last spring. We had taken the car in for service and they checked through the vehicle and recommended new tires. Asked them to give me a quote. Great price and ordered the tires. The tires were recommended by their service manager. Tire made a lot of road noise like we have never had before. Drove it a little while to see if noise would change. Went back in to talk to service manager...a different guy was now the service manager and his comment was that he would never put those tires on my vehicle. Said to drive it a little longer to see if noise level would get better. Noise level never changed, so went back a few weeks later and they had another service manager. Long story short they never did anything about the tires and they still make more noise than any tires I have ever had. I also had them do the brakes and when I left the brakes were rubbing when I stopped the car. Took it back in and they said they reworked the brakes. Left again, same thing, no change in noise coming from brakes!!! Had to take it to a private auto repair and it was fixed the first time!! Ford has been excellent to do my service in the past but with them not even trying to work things out over the last 6 months I told them they just lost a loyal customer.
But we did get taken on the warranty stuff we were supposed to get oil change for 2 years and didn't receive it we bought everything premium everything and we did not get the oil change we were lied to that away. A lot of money wasted. Our fault but the service department manager is awesome Billy.
As far as the performance of the truck we have not encountered any problems as of yet. It is just some minor but important things during the process of buying the truck that was not taken care of. Only had one key and fob and battery was dead in the fob. Paid to have dead battery replaced. Did not have an owners manual for truck and I was not going to pay $60.00 for one. Already having to pay to have an extra key cut and programmed. Extra fob would be about $59.00 which does not include programming of key. Downloaded a owners manual off computer!!!!
Traded in my car for a very fair price and bought a used car for a very fair price. Friendly and knowledgeable sales staff made the process as easy as possible. Definitely recommend them.
